This year, on June 14, the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AmCham Peru) will participate for the fourth time in the trade mission Trade Peru-USA, to promote bilateral trade between Peru and the United States. The trade mission Trade Peru-USA is aimed at entrepreneurs interested in Peruvian import, represent, distribute and market American brands and products in Peru and the region, drawing immediate relief on machinery and heavy vehicles required in all types of industry.

It should be noted that Peru under the North American Free Trade Agreement with the United States presents significant opportunities for import of capital goods. With the FTA, 90% of tariff lines imported from the United States have immediate relief. In that sense, machinery, equipment and other heavy tools have the benefit of 0% tariff.

Thus, the trade mission Trade Peru-USA not only represents an excellent opportunity to participate in ad hoc meetings with potential American partners, but also an opportunity to attend seminars and briefings on import international logistics.

This year, AmCham Peru organizes trade mission with the support of the Florida Foreign Trade Association, the U.S. Commercial Service and Enterprise Florida. Due to the success of this activity in the past, the American Chamber of Commerce of Argentina (AmCham Argentina) joined the Peruvian delegation, toward to Miami, Florida and City of Hollywood, Florida.

This trade mission is just one of the activities that AmCham Peru has in agenda to facilitate and promote trade with the United States by seizing the opportunities of the FTA.
