Leonardo Da Vinci: El Genio y Secretos

Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the greatest figures in human history. How to come up with an exhibition that could show all of what he was? Grande Exhibitions and Anthropos Association of Italy created this project: a historical route through his many artistic, scientific and research work on fields like anatomy, music, mechanics, and such. This mega- project has managed to re-create some of Da Vincis inventions and experiments, it counts with interactive tours, 3D pictures, and other amazing things! The exhibition has already been displayed in Moscow, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Guayaquil and Santiago de Chile. Now it's Lima's turn, what are you waiting to become part of this experience!

El Cuerpo Humano, Real y Fascinante - Exhibition




This exhibition displays real bodies, complete and partial, that have been preserved by using an innovating technique called polymerization, which preserves human tissue with liquid silicon. The final result is a plasticized body at molecular level, showing the complexity of the many bones, nerves, blood vessels and organs of the human body. It's a great opportunity to observe and learn about how the human body works.

Caral - Exhibition

Universidad San Martín de Porres and the Instituto Nacional de Cultura invite you to an exhibition on Caral, the most ancient civilization of the Americas, and a symbol of Peruvian identity. The exhibition has been set up as a temporary museum.

Jalca: Agua y Vida - Photography Exhibition

Photography Exhibition by Chiclayan photographer, Heinz Plenge, which portrays modern mining as an opportunity for development.  The exhibition, arranged by museum professional, Luis Repetto, is both artistic and interactive, and reflects on how mining activities in Yanacocha, Cajamarca, have been carried out with environmental responsibility and have thus been able to preserve and protect the biodiversity of the area.

Tejedor de Sueños - Exhibition

A homage to artist Julio León, Tejedor de Sueños (Dream Weaver) is a recollection of León’s works – paintings that transmit the artist’s vision of the world around him. Julio León has always been commited to his role in society, which is why in his paintings he protests against inequality and injustice and argues for a better world. A promising exhibition which you must not miss!

Jews in Poland - Exhibition

The Embassy of Poland is presenting a graphic exhibition on the history, traditions and culture of Jewish people in Poland in the last one thousand years. The exhibition has been prepared by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute of Warsaw in collaboration with the Polish Ministry of International Relations, and presents a panorama of Jewish people that goes beyond the classical scenes of Nazi persecution, portraying a unique culture that is definitely worth learning about.

Yuyanapaq. Para Recordar - Exhibition



This exhibition shows part of the events that took place during the violent years of 1980 - 2000, and are part of an effort to build a visual memory to help honor and remember the thousands of victims of the conflict. 182 pictures chosen after the investigation of the Truth Commission based on 80 photographic files at national level.

Unidad en la Diversidad: Aproximaciones Temáticas a la Historia Peruana

"Unity in Diversity: Thematic Approaches to the History of Peru" is an exhibition that shows the history of the country in a wide perspective, a free theme with no time limitations. The idea is to prove that Peruvians are the result of a long historic tradition.

Kené, Arte, Ciencia y Tradición en Diseño

"Kené" is a cultural manifestation that gathers the vision, the knowledge and art of the Shipibo-Konibo society. On their language it means design, and it's used to designate the handmade geometric patterns. Their different drawing methods are reflected on the pieces that conform this exhibition, and are part of the ethnographic collection of the National Museum of Peruvian Culture.

De Juliana a Pucllana: ofrendas Rituales

This exhibition shows a number of findings that occurred during the first season of excavations in 1967, when the site was called "Juliana" and not "Pucllana".

Tradicion y Diversidad del Arte Peruano - Exhibition

The exhibition gathers a number of unique pieces of Peruvian culture, from prehispanic times to present day. This exhibition was also displayed for the Presidents and Representatives of the 60 countries of Latin America, The Caribbean and the European Union who participated on the V ALC-UE summit.

Inca Garcilaso de la Vega - Exhibition and Conferences

To commemorate 400 years since the publishing of ‘Comentarios Reales de los Incas’ (Royal Commentaries of the Incas), the Cultural Center Inca Gracilaso has organized an exhibition and a series of conferences on the life and works of Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and how he has influenced humanity in the past centuries. After remaining a few months in Lima, the display will be taken to other cities in Latin America and Spain.

Afroperuanos - Photography Exhibition

Afroperuanos (Afro-Peruvians) is photographer Martín Alvarado’s second exhibiton. Here, his pictures capture the essence of Afro-Peruvian culture in our country: their traditions, daily life, art, leaders… Martín Alvarado is also producer of the cultural TV show, “Costumbres” (‘Customs’) and has also exhibited his photographs four years ago in ‘Este Es Mi Cariño’ (‘This is my Affection’).

La Soledad del Artista - Art Exhibition

A deserved tribute to the memory of Victor Humareda (1920-1986), the National Institute of Culture has prepared a recollection of the artist’s paintings as an exhibition that will be displayed in the Museo de la Nación. Victor Humareda’s works of art reflect his passion for painting harlequins, ballerinas, bullfighters and landscapes from a very traditional Lima. Not only will you admire Humareda’s unique talent, precision and perfection, but also contemplate the works of one of the greatest painters in Peruvian history.

Inverosímil - Art Exhibition

Postales de Lima- Exhibition


Lima's Art Museum (MALI) is presenting "Postales de Lima" (Postcards of Lima), an exhibition that gathers a selection of around 70 pieces of work from the first half of the XX century.
