The National Symphony Orchestra is presenting the Concert Season 2009 every Sunday.
Kimbafá, a show which mixes rhythm, percussion and Afro-Peruvian dance, transforms these elements into language, with many underlying themes that exemplify the flamboyant elements of everyday life in Lima. Every instrument in the show comes together in perfect harmony. Lima is a city that is crying out and wants desperately to be heard. Kimbafá and its different sound portrays Lima in different stages: Lima at dawn, Popular Lima, a Joyful Lima. The show is a manifestation of people who enjoy their roots deeply and express their joy freely without boundaries.
