I met this restaurant back in 1975 in its first location at Miraflores City. Today the pasta continues to be excellent. No matter what dish you try, all dishes are really good. My favorite is Fetuccini al Pesto with a Pizza at the side (Anchoas and Olives). My wife's favorite is the Lasagna 3 chesses (3 quesos). Yammi Yammi. A Sangria as a beberage is a must.

I recently ate at this so called 5 star restaurant with some friends and found the service and food quality terrible. One friend ended up in the hospital for 3 days after eating some of "FRESH" lasagna. After drinking the sangria we noticed right away that it was prepared with some of the cheapest wine and flavor more or less of vinager. I recommend searching a restaurant where they use fresh products and value their clients. There are many other excellent restaurants that offer quality produce and service such as La Romana which has quite a friendly atmostphere.

My wife and I live in Peru most of the year and dine out many times. We have eaten in small restaurants with a Menu for S5.00 each and in five star restaurants so we know good and bad food. I can say we have never had a bad meal in either but we do pick the ones we find people eating, it’s a good sign. As for Don Rosalino, we found it to have outstanding service from the time we entered until we left. The lasagna was some of the best we have enjoyed. They gave us time to have a little wine before the waiter returned for our order. There was no hovering to make us feel pushed. After the appetizer, the first on the list was outstanding, our meal was delivered quickly and hot. The restaurant was clean and well set with a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is in clear view from the entrance if you feel the need to look. I didn’t try the sangria this time but on our next visit we will and I’m sure it will measure up. I would recommend Don Rosalino to anyone. When we have friends visit it will be one of our restaurants of choice. I also liked when they served water without being asked.

I definitely recommend this establishment for anyone who loves Italian-American cuisine. For me was one of the most experince ever in a restaurant in Lima-Peru, the kind of food the make was gourmet.

love love love love, this was my go-to inexpensive Italian place. the menu is overwhelming (they have EVERYTHING), but they have some great black/whole wheat/spinach pastas that are freshly made, and the octopus appetizer is great for a table. Bread is delish (home made). Desserts & wine are unimpressive, they have international wines especialy european types....i definetly recomend this restaurant.

Don Rosalino Tratoria - is the best restaurant in the world according to my husband and our kids ages 7, 9 & 12. We visit Cuzco /Lima-Peru and Lima is the most important stop of the trip regarding the meals. We have it for lunch and dinner most of the time and make sure we carry out some for the ride back USA. We recommend it to all our friends and family that make a trip to Cuzco /Lima. The homemade gnocchi is our fay. and the pizza of course is to a slice of goodness.
