I have been looking for information on the Asia Oasis Sun Resort to make reservation for New Years Day. Unfortunately I have not been lucky due to the fact that there is no one to answer the telephone listed on the web site. It will be important to have access to a phone/or website were we could check availability for the hotel and rates per night....

I understand the frustration since I had the same experience couple of years ago. Unfortunately I lost the phone number, the reservation office is Located in San Borja, Lima-Peru. the hotel rates average $150.00 but I was able to negotiate it. The rooms are very simple but they are located around a nice pool with a beach-kind-of-entrance and a full bar in its center. Finding a rental on the beach would be more convenient.
Carmen, good luck on your visit to Lima and have fun!

I would not make reservations with a hotel that cannot be found in the yellow pages. Asia Oasis is one of those hotels. It's hard to find a more anonymous and difficult-to-locate tourist establishment. Maybe they don't like visitors?

I should have translated that last paragraph into english, my bad!
Anyhow, I don't know in which century is this hotel living on but after a lot of hassle, I managed to find the numbers for hotel "Oasis de Asia" located in Asia Boulevard:
+511 530-7804
+511 712-6030

Hola Pepe,
Marco.

The Asia Oasis hotel was being franchised by the group Sonesta Posada del Inca but it did not work out since the summer is so short. They have told me to call 538-7801 to see who has taken over the hotel in 2008.

The hotel has changed names. It is now called Aquavit Hotel and you can find in the the internet. It is quite expensive: $160 weekdays and $220 weekends. Check their site to make reservations.

I've stayed at the hotel two weekends this year. It's a very nice place full of activities for young couples or singles. Two weekends ago the hotel hosted Peru's fashion week (televised). I recommend this place - Aquavithotel.com
