Whether you want to relax and be a 'lazy dog', or hike in the near by mountains, there is always something to fill every desire.  Stimulating conversation, fabulous food with fresh greens from their own greenhouse, a lick from a 4 legged friend, or the soul filling views of the vivid mountain vistas.

If you need to find serenity this is the place to do it. Sitting outside on the Lazy Dog's patio, a stone's throw from some of the most spectacular mountains I have ever seen left me feeling awestruck at the beauty of life, of the planet. Huaraz is great for really experiencing life in the Andes but it's noisy! The Lazy Dog Inn, high above Huaraz, is at the doorstep of some great day hikes, overnight hikes, you can even go horseriding in the Andes!!! Wayne and Diana are great hosts. They can arrange any kind of adventure you want. And their food is fabulous! What more could you ask for?
