Have not visited Brenchley Arms for some years due to living in Chile now, but remeber this as the IN place for meeting a mix of cultures, good ambient and allways nice atention in the bars.

Great bar, good ambience, staff are always friendly although some of the expats are very cliquey. Mike the owner is very welcoming to all who venture in, make a point of visiting when in LIma.

I had a load of good nights down the Brenchley's Arms back in the mid 80s when Mike Ella and I were on the same seismic crew and Robin and Lydia (I think) were running the pub.

Hey Mike,

You probalby don't remember me but we played quite a bit of darts the couple of times I was down there.  I used to be a doodlebugger too but was down in Peru doing GPS plate tectonic studies.  Hope this finds you well!
