Awful
I was extremely disappointed in the service that Curry Treat provided.  Not so much the food, which I would rate as flavorless and mediocre, but so many things went wrong.  Starting with the fact that I had ordered samosas as an appetizer and they showed up at my house that evening shortly before guests were supposed to arrive and said that there was a problem and that they couldn’t make the samosas.  I was disappointed of course not only because everyone loves samosas, but because they didn’t bring an alternative appetizer (and obviously I did not have time to go shopping last-minute) So I had no “finger foods” to serve my guests (which was quite embarrassing!)

Secondly, they brought with them a somewhat antiquated “heating” system for the food, where I would have to pour a blue liquid in these tins, light them, and then every once in a while they would sort of explode and make this loud bursting sound.  It was quite unnerving, for both me and my guests.

But the thing I was most upset about is that they were supposed to come the next day and pick up all the buffet table and pots, etc – AND they promised to clean the dishes (I even gave them extra money)  I kept asking Nisha, one of the owners (a Peruvian woman, who pretends to be Indian, oddly enough) - “are you sure you will clean up?”  and she said (repeatedly) – “of course, you do not have to worry about a thing!” I was thrilled.  So I left my keys with my doorman and went to work for the day.  When I came back, the kitchen was a disaster and there was food all over the counters etc, including a huge puddle of dal (lentils) on my living room floor (which was not there when I left!) They had come to pick up there buffet table and containers, etc but did not tend to the dishes at all, as we had agreed upon verbally.
(Of course, now I know I should have had it in writing- and not paid everything upfront)

When I called to find out what happened, Nisha was extremely rude, even raising her voice, and said that they do not clean houses.  Fine, but then why promise you are going to do it, and even except the extra money??
She obviously has no clue about customer service!

Even worse, on Monday, when I got into the office, I received two extremely rude, unprofessional emails from Curry Treat.  I was so upset at their strange, lunatic behavior, that I went to my IT guy and had to block their emails from my account!

Needless to say, I am never ordering from them again!

Average
I agree 100% with the original reviewer. Unfortunately Curry Treat is the only outfit in Lima catering Indian food. It is time for competition.

Sooner or later this is going to change and some reasonable person will put Curry Treat out of business. These guys urgently need lessons in customer service. They are only interested in collecting your money and have no people skills. And yes, they are rude.

Do not do business with them, you will regret it. You are better off getting ingredients and cooking yourself.

This way you do not have to deal with this bunch of jokers.

Awful

Unfortunately, I left the star rating to default at three stars (average) in my previous post and now it does not let me edit it.

They do not deserve any star; however, I cannot click less than one (awful).
