Romantic setting and elegant.  Large varity of wines and attended by the owner, which I always like.  I had carpatio, ozzobuco and they were delicious.  The location is difficult to find, the only drawback.  Call in advance to get instructions on how exactly get there.  The restaurant is going to take care of charmin you and your company.

 Un restaurante exquisito, muy acogedor y con muy buenos platos. Recomiendo el carpaccio de Pulpo, una delicia. Y los rissotos tambien.

My wife thought the small pizzas were great but the pasta I had was just average.  The setting is plain and service average.  The wine list only had Peruvian wines!  There are several better Italian restaurants in Lima.

My wife and I had an Epicurean experience dining at Andiamo Trattoria in Lima. The extra dry Pisco Sour, not the sugary stuff commonly served, opened our appetite. The courteous bartender topped it with a map of Peru made out of cinnamon which added to its flavor. Setting aside our fears we tried their octopus Carpaccio, a real delicacy to be remembered. Our main course was Corvina, white ocean fish, which Marge had with broiled with a side order of Risotto packed with several types of mushrooms which, in addition to an array of flavors, had a wonderful Italian aroma. My Corvina came with a shrimp sauce and pasta with olive oil and light garlic flavor. What a treat, simply delicious! An added plus, they let you bring your favorite wine if you so desire. The owner who personally tends the Trattoria, is fluent in English.
