Huachipa the place to ride in Peru.
Lilli Becker is an excellent instructor with good quality horses. Fantactic place for young riders and adults alike.
Only wish I'd found it earlier!

I loved Huachipa when I was in Lima from 1999-2001. It is the best facility for riding in Peru. The grounds are beautiful, good horse shows. Many people from various countries ride there. Highly recommended.

I've ridden in stables in Canada and Scotland and this is probably my favourite all though I like the place I am riding now (in Canada) I love Huachipa and Lily is my favourite teacher. I quit one of the stables I went to in Canada b/c it wasn't anything like Huachipa and I kept comparing it to Huachipa and I remembered how safe and comfortable I felt on her horses. It's almost like you have a seatbelt on and yet you don't. :) The prices are not reasonable they're extremely low for what you would have to pay in Canada or Scotland. For a private lesson (per hour) in Canada it would be about $60-$100(CAN) depending on where you go and about 15(British Pounds) in Scotland (for 1/2 an hour) which is about $30(CAN). Where as at Huachipa (if remember correctly) its about $20 (CAN) for a full hour now that's good value. I would definetly recommend this stables.
