Special angel decoration, interesting alternative for live trova music and drinks.
Good snacks, specially pizza.
Try it!

I really love this place . My favorite one is La Posada del Angel II. I have so many good memories of this cozy place in Lima. There are a couple of angels working there.

It's a great place to hear live music, but don't miss El Expreso de la Virgen de Guadalupe, it belongs to the same chain of bars and it's located within walking distance of Posada del Angel I, II and III. Enjoy listening to real good singers!! Marco Polo has a great voice!! Marcos Guichard is a very talented performer, and so are Jose Pasco and Rodrigo Sevilla. The atmosphere is warm and friendly!!. You won't regret it.

Few places I have visited could compare to La Posada Del Angel”. There are three Posadas in “Barranco”, a beautiful, cultural and traditional suburb of Lima, Peru. The “Posadas” invoke a cosy environment lighted by candles and sometimes rose petals laying at the entrance. Traditional authentic pieces of “Escuela de Cuzco” paintings and colonial art are displayed on the walls. A deep and captivating incense burning smell, traditional "Peruvian Cancha", courtesy of the house; great snacks such as “La Posada Especial” (a mixture of a light pastry with mushrooms, asparagus and cheese), “Peruvian Pisco Sour”, great hospitality (Jean Paul, Eduardo not to mention other tops managers will look after you like if you were at home) are some of the nice features of “La Posada”. But most IMPORTANTLY, every night... the best music you can expect from FANTASTIC LIVE MUSICIANS, Marco Polo Curich, Jose Pasco, Rodrigo Sevilla, who most days perform a live concert and walk with their guitars on hands along the three “Posadas” , like old traditional Spanish TROVADORES, singing famous tunes of their own and of great singers such as Joan Manual Serrat, Pablo Milanes, Joaquin Sabina, Silvio Rodriguez, Sui Generis, Meccano, Miguel Rios, Jose Luis Perales, Piero, among many others. Those “trovadores” with their guitars, beautiful voices and musical skills, can certainly make your skin crawl with their passion and intensity. If you really want to know the “soul”, cultured and “trova Music”, bohemian & cafe culture of Latin America ...A MUST TO GO! . I HIGLY RECOMMEND La Posada Del Angel as you will be transported to a unique world long time gone and hard to forget!
Ask Marco Polo (in my view, the Peruvian equivalent of Joan Manuel Serrat… hopefully one day he will let us listen to his original songs) for “Ojala” ,“Fiesta” , “Algo Contigo” ; Jose Pasco for “ A todo Pulmon” , “Ella era un angel” (his original theme) or why not ….a Frankie Valii song “You are just too good to be true”, Rodrigo for “Contigo” or maybe for his "repertoire" of Spanish Rock.La Posada del Angel provides you with that long time gone, personal, friendly and romantic environment where everybody will remember your name and treat you as a friend and a local. Whenever I go to Peru, I make the time to visit La Posada Del Angel as much as I can ( I must be honest and tell you that if you are able to find a place at Posada 1, the spirits will talk to you!)
...It would be wonderful to have a place like La Posada Del Angel in Sydney, Australia.

This place is great but ever since Marcos Guichard left, it just isn't the same. He has such an amazing voice and really makes you feel his performance, you can lose yourself in the music when he sings. I hope they bring him back soon, I've been there twice since he left...not the same thing. Great food and ambiance though.

This is a very nice place where you find excellent singers and musicians,
for example Jose Pasco ( whit proper songs), Marco Gurich, and Marco Polo.
