The Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano is the biggest binational Cultural center in Latin America. It is highly recognized for its contributions towards the development of the community through the teaching of English and Spanish languages, for making people aware of books and of reading habits through its library net, and for its varied cultural programs of international level, through its galleries and auditoriums.
The ICPNA supports a wide variety of cultural activities, such as concerts, art exhibits, plays and others. Consequently, many foreign visitors have found our institution to be a good place to learn about our country.
Our cultural program allows for the development and promotion of the different artistic disciplines, including music, dance, visual and performing arts. Our auditoriums and galleries are especially designed and equipped to offer cultural events that not only provide the general public with immensely satisfying experiences but also allow our institution to receive high recognition from the artistic and cultural community.
We offer Spanish classes to those who would like to communicate with fluency. These classes represent a longstanding ICPNA tradition of better understanding with our foreign friends as they prepare to live in a new country and culture.
Our ICPNA class is made up of students who have different learning styles and come from different backgrounds. We satisfy these student’s special needs to learn, by emphasizing on a student-centered instruction in the Spanish Course. This instruction allows the teacher to deal positively with such diversity and motivates students to become involved in their own learning.
