Rainforest Expeditions (est. 1989) operates three award winning Amazon lodges: Posada Amazonas (30 rooms), Refugio Amazonas (24 rooms), and Tambopata Research Center (18 rooms). TAMBOPATA RESEARCH CENTER: The Tambopata Research Center is a simple but comfortable 18 bedroom lodge situated by the worlds largest Macaw Claylick on the uninhabited frontier of the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park. It is unrivalled in its access to pristine Amazonian forests, having no neighbours, and due to its distance from human populations requires a stopover in Refugio Amazonas.

KONCHUKOS TAMBO: This is a simple yet comfortable hotel in the heart of the Konchukos valley, adjacent to the Huascaran National Park.
Notwithstanding the stunning views of the rugged landscape, its central location within the valley makes it an ideal point from which to explore the many attractions of the valley and surrounding slopes. Great for families.
