Please don't buy puppies from pet stores. The majority of puppies sold in pet stores come from factory-breeding where the dogs are kept under awful conditions. Doing business with such places is irresponsible.
It is best to buy a dog directly from a home-breeder, where the puppies are used to being around people. There you can also see the look, temper and state of health of the mother (and maybe even the father), so you'll get a better idea of what your puppy will be like when he grows up.It is also very important that a puppy never be taken from his mother until he's at least 8 weeks old, and preferably not until he's 10 weeks old. Although the mother may already be weaning the puppies of breast-milk a few weeks before that age, the puppy learns important bite-inhibition in those last couple of weeks and becomes better socialized.
A very good idea is to get a dog from a dog shelter. There you can both find puppies that really are in great need for a loving home, and grown-up dogs that have already recieved some of the difficult up-bringing that comes with puppies, and already have their caracter developed.

We are looking for two puppies that are good with children and not too large when fully grown. Can you forward details or photos of what puppies you have at the present time.

Wow you people are stupidOnly those completely ignorant of animal welfare buy a dog from a pet-store. It's very likely the puppies, and especially their mothers, were and continue to be kept in awful conditions. Not getting to meet the parents of the pup means you have no idea what the pup will look like or what character he will have when he grows up. A pup that grows up in a home with his siblings not only develops important social skills (and bite control) with his siblings and mother, but also develops social skills with humans -a store pup might be socially imbalanced right from the start.Stop adding to the problem and stop buying puppies from stores. Rather visit Mercadolibre.com to find puppies for sale right from their homes. Or better yet visit a shelter like Animazul and save a dog who has been abandoned. And finally, you silly silly people, stop writing messages to the Animal shop here. This is not their webpage and they won't reply. You nimbwhits aren't even leaving a contact e-mail. The stupidity is simply staggering.

John TA dog is the worst gift imaginable. Cruel both to the dog and the new owner. Never give a pet as a gift. Parents should not buy a pet as a gift for their children unless they're ready to take care of the pet themselves -including all the food and medical bills.Getting a pet is a decision taken by the individual, ideally after carefully considering the implications and consequences, and the time and money that will have to be invested to raise a happy and healthy pet.
