Caro Dr Francisco,
Sou médica brasileira, e há alguns anos estudei sobre gnathostomiasis, tendo inclusive solicitado à Dra  Kerry Cipriani o envio de algumas fotos de pacientes para que eu pudesse ministrar uma aula.  Verifiquei também a fotografia de um de seus pacientes no livro "  Tropical Dermatology - Tyring S., Norton S., Lupi O.
Recentemente atendi um paciente com quadro compatível com o diagnóstico de gnathostomiasis, através do achado de uma paniculite eosinofílica ( não encontrei a larva), eosinofilia periférica 17%, lesão migratória compatível, e uma história de ingestão de ceviche durante viagem prévia ao Peru. Provavelmente, este será o primeiro caso desta doença diagnosticado e notificado do Brasil. Entretanto, não temos disponível a sorologia . Precisamos realizá-la, para fins de publicação.
O senhor pode nos informar como conseguir esta sorologia? (já tenho o soro do paciente congelado).
