Avoid this at all costs. Local uncredentialed chef Gaston Acurio (who isn't actually a chef) has some type of spell cast upon the Peruvian population. These Peruvian sandwiches are flavorless, mediocre, and overpriced. The popularity of this place is baffling. I'd never wait in a long line for lame, overpriced food.

I'm surprised at the previous review because the sandwiches I tried were excellent. However, the sandwiches are a bit too expensive for what they were and the long lines and crowds also detract from tasty food.

i'm sick and tired of gaston acurio's overpriced restaurants. i'f you want real peruvian fast food, go to any discrete deli or cafe near you and ask for a "butifarra" or a "triple".
