Machu Picchu Lodge-Lodge
From the base of the towering Salkantay Peak (6271m / 20574 ft. above sea level) to Machu Picchu, during this 7-day adventure you will trek through 9 bio-zones, traverse a mountain pass at 4,600 m, see the convergence of three rivers at one point, discover villages where locals still maintain age-old traditions, and witness the majesty of Machu Picchu, the crown jewel of the Inca Empire. Best of all you will travel from lodge to lodge along uncrowded trails in areas so remote that your only company may be that of a mighty condor. This unique experience is fully-guided and assisted so your only task is to follow in the footsteps of the Incas as you partake in the journey of a lifetime.
Adventurers stay at four different lodges throughout the experience. Lodges are fully staffed and accommodations include private rooms with breathtaking views, hot-showers and temperature controlled environments. MLP offers an all-inclusive experience: all guided activities and trek services, lodging, high-quality mountain cuisine (“Andean Energetic Cuisine?) and all services are included. Fixed Departure dates available, as well as private departures, group requests, corporate retreats and special interest trips.
Level of difficulty: moderate to challenging.
