Excellent

Silvana's lamps are real works of art and one version of each model. She does not copy, she does not repeat, she designs according to everyone's need, place and oportunity. Her interesting limited editions of which a recent one is vintage matchbox lamps are exceptional and everything is handmade, from the paper. Very linear, clear and pure lines and sometimes capricious shapes. The use of dimmers switches create interesting effects on her sculpture lamps which many times are over-sized and create a very special impact on the viewer and user.
She is now using some printed fabrics and sometimes uses crude ones which she paints herself.
She has an important collection of sculpture lamps which has logically evolved, created for her 2004 exhibition at ARTCO called 7500 watts. On Thursday October 22nd. this year, she will inaugurate her second individual exhibitionat Indigo Gallery, Pancho Fierro 260, San Isidro (parallel to block 29 of Av. Arequipa).
Silvana studied art and design which from the year 2000 she applied to lamp design. Her lamps are all over Lima, all over Peru and are now being sold at Miami Fashion District as well. At the time she generated much interest in the illumination topic which was at the time, quite unattended.
During 1999 she participated in Casa Cor as an interior designer and was the youngest participant with great success with her extremely minimalistic and modern space. She has designed a collection of scarves for the Larco Herrera Musem and has decorated several apartments until she took the path of illumination which she masters.
A real hard-worker with well-deserved fame and results.
