I took my kids out. There are clics, where the american kids and peruvian kids hang out in separate groups, with no integration and some discrimination. Its hard to make friends and its one of the most expensive schools in the city. There are better options.

Julie,
Do you happen to know the approximate salary range for teachers in Lima (or where that information can be obtained)? I am an American looking to move to Peru and am interested in teaching music.
Thanks!

I've been in FDR since I was in 1st grade until 11th grade, it is a great school, the best I would say. There are many elevtives, it lets students have freedom of speech and its just great. The thing about clics, the peruvians and the american, the doesnt happen anymore, we are all like a big family, foreing or not.

Could anyone (parents who have their kids there now or have had recently) give feedback on the Early Childhood program ES4 and Kindergarten?
Also how long might it take to drive to the school from Miraflores in the morning?
Thanks!!
