Orchids are an exotic treat in the natural kingdom, so much so it’s got Erica Morón de Abad hooked on these flowering beauties. While orchids can pretty much be found anywhere around the world, Morón focuses her time researching and taking down prevalent date on one species of orchids in particular – the Peruvian orchids. My name is Carol H. de Burga, current President of the Club Peruano de Orquídeas. I personally feel very proud to have as a member of our Association, Erica Moron de Abad. She works very hard in her research of new species, and investigation for new breeds. Thank you Erica for allowing us to have you as a member and the opportunity to share your friendship, congratulations for your effort in your work. Carol H. de Burga# Roberto Marbach M. says :

Erika's work is impressive. This kind of work gives a country added value (prestige, recognition ... ), and Erika is, no doubt, doing that for Peru. I hope more people like Erika emerge in that country.# Thomas Bowman says :
If there's anyone who deserves the recognition being bestowed upon her, it's definetely Erica. Her dedication to preserving this Peruvian treasure is second to none. It's people like her that help make this world of ours and its wonders a part of our daily lives. Congrats!!!!
