Trozos de Jamón con Salsa de Sauco / Ham Slices with Sauco (Andean blueberry) Sauce

Ingredients
4 ham slices cut 1-inch thick
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup pineapple preserves
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons white wine
4 teaspoons lime juice
1 cup fresh Sauco (Andean Blueberries)

Preparation
Pan fry the ham until brown on both sides. Place water, preserves, sugar, lime juice and berries in a small sauce pan. Simmer until the berries are plump. Dissolve the corn starch in the white wine and add to the pan. Simmer a few minutes more until thickened.
