Salsa de Barbacoa Peruana / Peruvian BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup chancaca
dissolved in the microwave with 4 Tbsp. water or 1 cup honey
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of ketchup
½ cup of tomato paste
2/3 cup red vinegar
1/3 cup of Ají molido (pureed Ají amarillo)
1 tsp. salt
1 cup finely minced onions sauteed
3 cloves garlic minced sauteed

Preparation
Add to sauce pan and bring to a simmer-cook slowly for 20 minutes. Cool and use as you would any BBQ sauce. Store in the refrigerator.
