500 tickets per day in October will be sold for all tourists that want to visit these legendary roads during 2018.

The Inca road system is the most amazing way to have the first view of Machu Picchu, right from the gate of the Sun. This first view of the Inca city is the same as it was for the people who came to Machu Picchu by the Inca road system almost 600 years ago.

The process of booking tickets for all those people who would like to enter the Inca roads leading to the archaeological park of Machu Picchu (Cusco) in 2018 has already started. The act was verified by the Provincial Tourism Prosecutor, Dr. Rubén Villena, who oversaw the revision of the reserve’s system.

The new system was implemented in compliance with provisions in the regulations for sustainable tourism of the Inca roads system from the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Thus, the representative of the Public Ministry was able to corroborate that the 500 tickets per day in October that will be sold for the 11 months of next year cover almost the entire year but one month which is February, since the system is closed for maintenance.

Representatives from the Culture Ministry explained that tickets will be sold every business day of October from the 5th onwards.
