On Friday Mick Jagger, singer of legendary rock band The Rolling Stones visited the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
According to a report in Andina, Jagger was amazed by the majesty of the site.
The British singer traveled to the site at around 5:20 am, under tight security.
Despite the heavy rain and fog Jagger, his partner L’Wren Scott and his son Lucas walked around the site, taking pictures from various angles.
According to reports his son Lucas was very enthusiastic and amazed by the ancient citadel.
Jagger was greeted by a group of nearby tourists who chanted his name and sang Rolling Stones songs
The group finished touring the site at approximately 7:25am and headed back to their hotel in the district of Machu Picchu.
The singer arrived in Lima late Friday night and met with President Ollatna Humala on Saturday.
Jagger then traveled to Madre de Dios with his son and partner, before heading to Cusco.
