As the great food event Mistura draws closer, we at Living in Peru have more exclusive insider information for you! Take a look at the latest news about the Grand Market.

The Grand Market may fill your bags and bellies during Mistura, and it will definitely be the heart of this 2017 gastronomy fair.

Not only will they be celebrating the 10th anniversary of this gastronomy fair and honoring the event in the historic neighborhood of Rimac, but there will also be a very large and impressive market.

In one of Apega’s latest press releases, it has confirmed that the Grand Market, measuring an area of 3,335 m2 this year, has already sold 87% of its stands to producers.

This means that you will be able to find a variety of exclusive and well-priced products for purchase that come from all over Peru in one grand location.

You will find fruits, vegetables, clay pots, king kongs and much more, and just like in the past you will be able to visit the kitchen in the Grand Market, where you can hear producers share local recipes and dishes with other chefs.

And don’t forget to pick up your tickets or purchase them online via Teleticket.
