Antamina donates two classrooms to a rural school in Peru

Two modern classrooms with computers were donated to the the Public School N° 86220 in the town of Pachapaqui, Aquia District (Bolognesi, Ancash),.

The donation was made under the Schools Network project, that is run by the Peruvian Institute of Business Administration (IPAE).

This is sponsorsed by Empresarios por la Educación (Employers for Education) and the financing of Antamina Mining Fund (AMF).

The ceremony of deliverance was attended by Felipe Trejo Huaman (the school’s Principal), Esther Gamarra (President the Farmers’ Community in Aquia), Germán Cotrina Campos, president of the parent’s association (APAFA), teachers, parents and representatives of the company executing the work.

Local authorities expressed their gratitude for this donation, that will benefit the children of Pachapaqui.
