Acasiete's Almería is one of the four teams, behind Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla, with less goals against in the first six rounds of La Liga Primera.
Despite being 13th and having only one win, three draws and two defeats in the Spanish tournament, Almería so far has one of the more solid back line of the Liga Primera, only bettered by Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla.
Santiago Acasiete is one of the defenders of Almería, which had been beaten in only six times. The web site Diario AS highlighted Acasiete's performance along his teammates, and assures this is one of the best season beginning since they arrived to the first division in 2007.
"The total value of the transfers of Almería defenders is not superior to five million euros. So, we don't value them in money, but in performance. Alves, Chico, Acasiete and Pellerano are among the best defenses in the Liga" says the web site.
Acasiete is the more experienced player from all them: "This is not only defense work. The whole team defendes al right. That's the secret".
