San Agustin Hotels
will invest US $10.5 million dollars in the construction of a touristic lodge and a hotel in Paracas (Ica), and another one in Cusco as well, according to its President Manuel Garcia.
He estimated that the works will be completed by December 2010, and they expect that the international financial crisis will be over by then, too.
“We do expect that the hotels sector will boom again in 2011,” Garcia said.
San Agustin Tourist Hostel, designed for sea and marine life lovers, will be built in an 11,592 square meters area and will have 202 beds, a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, hall. Also balconies, gardens, parking lots, among other services will be offered.
In addition, the new San Agustín Plaza Hotel that will be built in Cusco, in front of the Koricancha temple, will be categorized as “exclusive.”
