According to the local newspaper Correo, heavy metal band Metallica will perform in Peru next January, during the tour to promote the new album “Death Magnetic,” as well as their classic hits.

Correo says that, according to Metallica's representatives, the band will soon announce the exact date, and it has scheduled also concerts in Venezuela and Colombia.

Other online media, like Conciertosperu.com, say that the concert in Lima would take place on January 10th, while other news sources say it would be January 19th.

The management of the South American tour will be Evenpro, but there is no news yet about which Peruvian company will be in charge of their local management.
