After nearly a year of intense search, the fossilized skull of a Smilodon, known as "saber tooth tiger" was found during an expedition through the area known as "Pampa de los Fósiles" (Fossils Ground) in the province of Pacasmayo, La Libertad region. # Blacktiger says :

Always interesting to read of ancient discoveries such as this, especially those that advance our knowledge of felidae. I hope that this in some way will help to educate our species in the need to protect all species of felids. They are truly amazing and beautiful beings.Add your comment
