Callao is getting ready to receive Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez, who will offer a unique concert along with another local artists such as Gianmarco, Pedro Suárez Vértiz and Magaly Solier.
The lyric event will take place on November 14th at Miguel Grau stadium, and 18,000 thousand people are expected to attend.
Peru's National Symphonic Orchestra (OSN) will be conducted by Spanish Director Álvaro Albiach.
The concert is organized by Callao Regional Government in coordination with cultural associations Romanza and Opera Friends.
Flórez will interpret opera and zarzuela highlights, as well as popular themes, on a stage seen only in big cities like Madrid, London and Paris.
The presentation of the Peruvian tenor in November will be the only one until 2011, when he will come back to interpret Rossini's "The Barber of Sevilla" at Alejandro Granda Opera Festival at Callao.
