A group of Peruvian athletes will
participate in Ironman triathlon (USA) to help children with cancer.
At Ironman competitions they will swim 3.8 kms at sea, ride bicycles for 180 km and run 42.2 kms.
Fifteen Peruvian athletes specialized in triathlon will take part of this competition on November 7th, in Panama City Beach in Florida (USA).
The Ironman is one of the most demanding physical tests in the world.
"Our goal is to finish this competition on behalf of little patients at Frieda Heller Lodge, to be able to give them some moments of joy and happiness --as well as to provide some economic support for the lodge-- to help the children a home to live in while in treatment."
“We want to give them a smile," said Vincent Block, member of Ironman Perú.
