Peru: Sofia Mulanovich to compete in Lobitos

Peru's Sofia Mulanovich is currently ready to take part in 2009 ASP Women’s World Tour Event, No. 5 of 7, the Movistar Peru Classic presented by Rip Curl.
Mulanovich arrived in Lima last Saturday, after competing in Portugal, where she made it to quarterfinals after being eliminated by Hawaiian Coco Ho.
“I can’t promise anything, but I’ll do my best for my country; my body and soul will be with my country. One of my dreams is to win here, we’ll see what happens,” she said.
Sofia will compete against Australian Stephanie Gilmore and Brazilian Silvana Lima, who are in top of the world rank.
The Movistar Peru Classic presented by Rip Curl, has called a lay day today, with strong winds damaging the event site at Lobitos.
