Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez praised actress and singer Magaly Solier during a press conference; he admitted he first saw her work through Youtube and her website.
"I saw in her
the ideal candidate to accompany me, especially in Quechua," said Florez, who also told the press that he will release an album (in CD) of sacred music in Europe, including a Spanish/Quechua huayno he is currently composing.
“Magaly Solier will be a great help with the huayno,” he said.
Juan Diego Flórez will perform in Callao on November 14th, along with Gianmarco Zignago, Pedro Suarez-Vertiz and Magaly Solier.
Callao's Mayor Alex Kouri said that security will be reinforced to protect all the attendees.
Tickets are on sale in TuEntrada (Vivanda and Plaza Vea Supermarkets).
