"Emergency Blanket" is taking part successfully at the British contest People's Music Awards, and is being praised by the jurors, who are asking music businessmen to bet on the national band.
Reportedly the jury considers that they have an innate talent and they are going to be a successful band.
Emergency Blanket's most known themes are "Rusted" and "Warkaman Te" in Quechua.
Mick Glossop said "all is in the right place in this group, I give them a perfect qualification in all items to evaluate. They have a powerful energy and listening to them is a pleasure for every good music lover."
Engineer Tony Platt, who participated in the best works of groups like Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin, said he is surprised by Emergency Blanket's compositional ability, and closed his comments asking European companies to hire them.
Moreover, the performance of this Peruvian group is making more than one businessman looking with interest into the national market as a source of new musical talents for the industry.
"It's very interesting to to see a latino group, and even more a Peruvian one, had arrived to this faze of the contest. Emergency Blanket shows that there is potential for them, and passion for rock is everywhere," added the contest's organizers.
