Peru: Inkaterra presents interactive DVD about birds

Pamela Torres

The tourism company, Inkaterra, has recently published an interactive DVD showing those birds that live in the clouds forest and those birds that live in the Amazon tropical forest.

This bilingual DVD (in English and Spanish) shows those birds one can see in both ecosystems where two of the best hotels are located: the “Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel” and the “Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica.”

It presents splendid pictures of the birds and information about the species through descriptions, recordings of the different songs these birds sing and pictures of the places they live at.

It also includes virtual tours, games to learn about the birds’ characteristics, field guides, maps and virtual postcards.

The interactive DVD was recently presented in the city of New York (USA), in the National Audubon Society, with the patronage of Prom Peru, and in an event called “Peru: a Paradise of Birds.”
