Thirteen students and two teachers from Columbia College Chicago are currently in Peru in an academic trip: they are having here a travel writing study abroad program, focusing on Peru.

The Columbia students will practice multimedia journalism though writing, photography, video and blogging, and obviously they will have to produce complete articles about their experiences during this trip, that will take them to Lima and Cusco.

They have the guidance of their Columbia professors Elio Leturia (visual journalism), who is Peruvian too, and Teresa Puente (print journalism), both of them shown in the photo.

The students are having their classes in Lima, at the classrooms of IPAD institute, which seeks to promote cultural, journalistic and artistic exchange between Peruvian and American students.

Columbia College Chicago is acknowledged as the largest and most diverse private arts and media college in the US.
