Peru: Megan Fox claims she could have been a Vargas' pin-up girlActress Megan Fox feels confident of herself, her physical aspect and her sensuality; moreover, she thinks that famous Peruvian illustrator Alberto Vargas could have chosen her as a model, based on her style and beauty.

"I inmediately fit in underwear, I’m like a Vargas girl," she said in reference to the artist born in Arequipa, who made illustrations for Esquire magazine, then called the "Vargas Girls."

Alberto Vargas was a well known Peruvian-born artist in the ’40s, and his "pin-up girls" became a cultural icon.

Due to his success, Vargas also worked in Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers and MGM Studios.
