Peru postponed the debate on the Regulations for Transgenics, due to the general opposition of most Peruvians to genetically modified products, reports Semana Económica.# Joaquin Boehnert says :

Hopefully other provinces of Peru like Junin, Pasco, etc...with promosing organic productios of crops, fruits, etc... will follow the example of Cusco and Aracucho and in the near future Huanuco to be "Itransgenic-free"!!

I hope Peru stays producing Organic Products. Genetically Modified Products in the USA are producing such health problems, especially cancers of all kinds, diabetes, etc. We are killing our selves because of our current way of food production in the United States--it's a slow death. Warning--stay away from it.

Wow, he did the right thing GMO food is a disaster and a product of Nazi science and worse. Now lets see how the powers that be will work to remove this guy and put in one of their stooges who will agree to plant the cancer causing dangerous frankenstein steralising eugenics genociding foods into beautiful Peru? My advice, educate Peruvians that they are in danger from companies like monsanto who wants to ruin the ecosystem and control and own every living thing on the planet as stated in their own memos and documents. The very best thing any country can do in the next 50 years for their economy and health, even their real estate value is to make sure they go organic or at the very least avoid genetically modified organisms like they are the devils fire because that's exactly what they are.Add your comment
