Chilean business group Falabella announced today that it will maintain its investments in Peru despite the effects of the earthquake that hit Chile.
Jose Antonio Contreras, General Manager of Malls Perú, said that local projects must continue because the market is going up.
Falabella investments in Peru may total US $600 million during 2010 and 2012, and Chilean companies Cencosud, Falabella and Ripley announced investments worth US$635 million only for this year.
“A few stores of Grupo Falabella were affected in Chile, but we will restore them as soon as possible,” Contreras said.
