An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 in the Richter scale took place yesterday in Lambayeque, Peru’s north coast, according to the Geophysical Institute of Peru.
The earthquake happened at 10:22pm and the epicenter was located 44km to the north of Olmos district, in the province of Lambayeque.
There have been no reports of any damages or victims.
The earthquake was felt also in the neighboring regions of Tumbes, Piura and La Libertad.
