APRA presidential candidate Alan García appears to be very close to joining Ollanta Humala in the second round. His advantage over Lourdes Flores increased to nearly 90,000 votes with over 95% of the votes counted. García has registered 2,851,948 votes to Flores 2,762,654. Nationalist candidate Ollanta Humala continues to lead with 3,616,936 votes.
