Greetings from Australia.
That's fantastic!!!!! It's about time the government did something about the traffic control in Lima, although they should put speed traps on every street corner, everytime we go to visit I FREEEEAK OUT when I'm in a car I'm sure I loose at least 20 years of my life span from the stress of it all!!!! But hey............ my country ROCKS!!!!!!

$100 (US) for speeding!?!?!?
I understand that enforcement is critical, but $100 (US) is a bit overboard.

Yeah....that it is way too much money but hopefully I will feel much safer when I'm there. And hopefully they'll bring the amount of money on fines down too.

Because of careless drivers and high speed which is so common, traffic fines are reasonable; however the money should go to the people of Perù.
