Update
(LIP-jl) -- According to Peru's RPP Radio, a missing Peruvian Air Force plane has been found by military search parties in the jungle department of Loreto.
Despite rough weather conditions, search parties were able to locate the wreckage as well as 8 reported survivors on Canchahuaya hill, according to the Peruvian news radio network.
Search helicopters were able to locate the survivors with relative ease as the resourceful survivors built a fire as a signal for rescuers.
Authorities and Peruvian media reports have identified the survivors as: Sergio Horacio Ramos Gonzales, Janet Zevallos Davila (who is seven months pregnant), Richard Castro Garcia (who is the Loreto regional president's political adviser), Delfina Vasquez, Antonio Hermes Soto and crew member Raul Toledo Vasquez.
The names of the other two survivors have yet to be released.
