(LIP-jl) -- Amid recent rumors that claim there are pending border issues between Ecuador and Peru, Ecuadorian officials quickly dispelled the rumors and stated there are no border problems with its southern neighbor.# A.HAmilton Mencher says :

The northern borderis not only that between Mancora and Guayaquil, but also the jungle zone between the Cenepa River and the Putumayo, where millions of dollars have been spent in the traditional, ineffective ways since 1998.
This a rea, on both sides of the border, while decently mapped in satellite imagery, is relatively uninventoried in in terms of its human and natural resources.
Anyone inter ested in knowing more can query me for a description and a proposal made seven years ago and, not so strangely, still valid, since it was based on lessons learned in applied cultural anthropology, jungle exploration, construction and commercial experience.

I think these talks need to be encouraged by patriotic forces because the USA plan (to the degree these bumbling fools have a plan) for Peru is to cause as much border difficulty as possible between the puppet regime of long-time CIA payrollee Alan Garcia and the progressive popular governments of Bolivia and Ecuador.
I don't think gringoism has a chance of succeeding here as long as the people of South America remain vigilant and their vanguards realize that US imperialism is searching, searching, searching for new ways to subvert and control the countries of the continent in the interest of the small group of trillionaires that own the Gringo Regime on the Potomac.

Mr, Smith needs to supply facts to support any opinions he might have regarding "development" possibilities in the jungle area between the rivers Mr. Mencher mentioned. The ecuadorian communities on the other side also harbor a great human potential that also needs to be endowed with the socioeconomic filters with which to evaluate proposals by outsiders and be active participants in the design and implementation of any changes in their way of life and the biophysical environment which has provided the inhabitants with sustenance for a hundre d generations.
