Perhaps its time to free Vladimir Lenin Montecinos and Abimael Guzman?

Great idea. Let's free Abimael Guzman... Peru is getting a little too crowded, so Abi can kill off another 70,000 people or so to thin things out, kink of like he did in the 90s. That's the ticket!

If the Japenese goverment was interested in human rights violations they would insist Fujimori stand trial. Obviously this is not the case.
Furthermore, peruvian prosecutors now want him to face charges that include ordering the murders of 25 people in 1991 and 1992, ordering the abduction and torture of opponents and embezzling government funds. How the Chileans can let this man walk around, play golf and have his his bond set for $3,000 shows they have not come very far from being in bed with one dictator to the next.

I agree with Mr. XC. Chile laughs at Peru. It is another example of what a little Coima will get you these days. And what is this Free Amimael stuff? Mr. Fujimori belongs in jail, along with Mr. Guzman. And besides, Mr. Guzman makes Mr. Fujimori look like an angel anyway. It sounds as if Mr. Smith has read Mr. Lewis Carroll's book too many times. Only I believe instead of the rabbit, Mr. Smith believes he is following Abimael down into the rabbit hole.

I completly agree with Paul Mercurio!!! Chiles goverment is a joke and this will not produce any good results for relations between Peru and Chile.
So politicans with lenghtly documented criminal cases against them do not get to stand trial by Chilean standards? Thats not a democracy!

ITS OBVIOUS THAT CHILE IS NOT A FRIEND OF PERU OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN SOUTH AMERICA. THEY HELPED THE ENGLISH DURING THEIR WAR WITH ARGENTINA AND ARE TRYING TO STEAL TERRITORY FROM PERU. I HAVE SPENT TIME IN SANTIAGO AND FOUND THEIR PEOPLE RATHER SELF CENTERED AS A WHOLE.
PERU NEEDS TO GET ITS OWN BUSINESS VENTURES ON TRACK AND LET CHILE SEND ITS BUSINESS TO ENGLAND.

Chile is extremely boring and homogenous, and they always manage to blow their relations with Peru once a month. However this anti-chileanism sentiment is so exhausting, my Chilean friends always take to rising above it, acting like they don't care, making Peru look bitchy, psycho and uncultured. I wrote essay after essay about Peru-Chile relations in college and I guess I'm just over it. It's so classic for Peru to start a beef with Chile to deflect atention from internal problems, it's so obvious! I love Peru, Chile can go f___ themselves. I just hope Peru doesn't lose the maritime issue at the Hague, that would be so embarrassing.

This may sound silly or outlandish but I "think" I have the answer as to why there are so many "ocean" disruptions. I "think" a ruling power that has the tecknowledgy to shoot beams from space to various locations throughout the world is causing all the upheaveals in our ocean floors. Does it ever strike you that of all the news of all the world, nothing is ever said of our oceans. Considering on how much land mass there is compared to the amount of water on Earth, I "think" something smells.Add your comment
