Korea would increase cooperation with Peru by 28.6 percent totaling over nine million dollars this year, the sub director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Peru Shin Man Shik said today. He recalled that in 2007 the Korean cooperation in Peru reached seven million dollars, five million in 2006 and 3.5 million in 2005. “50 percent of this year's total amount will be addressed to health projects, while the other half to boost educational and human development projects as well as Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)”, he stated to Andina news agency.
