Arequipa to present investment projects at APEC business round
(LIP-do) -- Arequipa’s regional government will present some projects in agriculture, industry and tourism at the Business Round, which will take place in Lima in the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC). The regional head of Arequipa Juan Manuel Guillén Benavides said that the Majes Siguas II project will be presented in the agricultural area and alpaca wool processing plant installment in the industry area. The opening of new tourist routes in provinces such as La Unión, Condesuyos and Caylloma, places with many natural landscapes, will be presented for the tourism industry. “The general management is carrying out some plans which will be presented at the Business Round and we hope some of the member economies, which will participate in this event, will be interested in some of them”, he said. Guillén added that these proposals will be ready by the end of the month hoping they will be well-received by the 21 member economies.
