Peru: Photo of the day - Underground bus station almost complete

Lima's Grand Central Bus Station is to be complete by the end of 2009 and will have 300 natural gas buses running through it, said Armando Molina, a representative of the Municipality of Lima. He explained that the project was 60 percent complete and estimated that the majority of the underground bus station itself would be complete by the end of September. It was announced that the park above the underground station, Paseo de los Héroes Navales, would be complete and opened to the public by the end of this month.
