Peru: Photo of the day - International Potato Day celebrated with Potato Sour

With creative cocktails such as Papa Sour and a variety of stews, one of Lima's largest wholesale markets celebrated International Potato Day. Peruvian dishes made with potatoes such as carapulcra, papa a la huancaína and causa rellena among others were provided for participants to try free of charge. There was a large parade in which natives from Peru's coast, jungle and highlands participated. Lima is not the only region where International Potato Day was celebrated; however, it was also celebrated in Cusco. The region held a series of festivities in honor of the tuber.

I like the cute potato costuimes. It is clear, however, that these women have had too many many potatoes in their diet and they are a bad idea to promote the potato. Use some attractive and slim women and men next time ;)Add your comment
